A simple and sociable space for groups
The tourist bedroom is one of the largest sleeping spaces at Freeway Hostel. With approximately 40 square metres and accommodation for up to eight guests, it is a practical choice for groups of friends, youth participants, families travelling together or visitors attending events in Mindya.
Four sturdy wooden bunk beds are arranged around the room, leaving plenty of open space in the centre. Large windows bring in natural light and offer views towards the garden and the village surroundings. A small lounge area with armchairs, a table and traditional woven rugs makes the room feel more welcoming and gives guests a place to sit together outside sleeping hours.
The room is intentionally simple rather than luxurious. Its character comes from the combination of wooden furniture, colourful local textiles, original artwork and the informal atmosphere of the house. Storage furniture is available for personal belongings, while the generous floor area keeps the room comfortable even when it is fully occupied.
The entire bedroom can be booked privately for a group, making it especially suitable for workshops, celebrations, music weekends, youth activities and longer group stays. Guests also have access to the hostel’s shared facilities and outdoor spaces.
