The garden is one of the main gathering spaces at Freeway Hostel. Guests can relax by the pool, enjoy meals outdoors, use the barbecue, play table tennis or spend the evening around the fire pit.
A covered terrace with tables and chairs provides shade during the day and a comfortable place for shared meals, conversations and small gatherings. The garden also includes a hammock, outdoor seating and equipment for music and private events.
A garden made for relaxing, music and shared moments
The outdoor area at Freeway Hostel combines open green space, shaded seating and several places for guests to spend time together. The garden includes a seasonal swimming pool, sun loungers, tables, chairs and quiet corners under the trees.
Guests can prepare food on the barbecue, share meals outdoors or gather around the fire pit in the evening. A covered terrace provides a practical space for breakfast, coffee, games and conversations, while the hammock offers a quieter place to rest.
For activities, the garden includes a table tennis setup and enough open space for informal games and group activities. The different levels of the garden create both social areas and more peaceful corners with views towards the surrounding hills and village rooftops.
Freeway Hostel is also equipped for music and small private events. The outdoor facilities include a sound system with amplifier and mixing console, together with party and stage-style lighting suitable for music evenings, celebrations, workshops and small gatherings.
The garden is informal and flexible rather than highly polished. It is designed to be used: for swimming, cooking, listening to music, meeting people, celebrating and enjoying long summer evenings in Mindya.
